CGS2100C – Computer Applications is a 3-credit course covering the productivity software that essentially every professional role assumes competence in: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. It is a common general education or program requirement across business, health, and technical programs in Florida.

The course is frequently underestimated. Students arrive fluent with phones and web applications and assume that transfers to desktop productivity software.
