Course Description

ATF2530L is the flight-training course for the FAA instrument flight instructor rating — the CFII — offered at the lower division and carrying one credit. It qualifies a flight instructor to give instruction toward an instrument rating and to sign the endorsements permitting a candidate to take the instrument practical test.

Florida's statewide record describes it tersely: it "provides the commercial pilot with the appropriate knowledge and skill requirements in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration Certified Flight Instrument Instructor certificate."
